Meet the Doctors
Dr. Sonia Rocha has been practicing dentistry for over three decades, combining her passion for art and health to create beautiful, healthy smiles. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University in 1986 and began her career as a dentist in the United States Air Force. After her time in the military, she established a successful dental practice in New York before moving to Naples, Florida to open Tower Dental Arts in 2006. Dr. Rocha takes the time to educate her patients on how proper dental care impacts not just their smiles, but the health of their entire bodies. Her goal is to help patients achieve optimal health while boosting their confidence through exceptional dental care. What sets Dr. Rocha apart is her dedication to compassionate treatment. This approach has earned her the trust of patients from all over the country, many of whom travel to Naples just to receive care from her and her team.
Dr. Ramer was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky while his father, a retired general dentist, served as a Captain in the United States Army and worked in their military dental clinic. A few years later, his family moved to Nutley, New Jersey where Dr. Ramer was raised in a home/office dental practice. After graduation from Nutley High School, Dr. Ramer attended the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1986. After college, Dr. Ramer attended dental school at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore, the first dental school in the world and recently ranked as the #1 dental school in the country. After receiving his Doctor of Dental. Surgery, D.D.S. degree, Dr. Ramer then completed an additional 2 year specialty program at the same school, where he earned his specialty degree in Prosthodontics and his title as a Prosthodontist, an expert in the field of dental prosthetics. Dr. Ramer has practiced his specialty in Florida since 1992 where he lives with his wife and 4 children. Dr. Ramer enjoys traveling, tennis and recently started playing pickleball.
Dr. Roberto C. Gonzalez Yumar was born in Camaguey, Cuba. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Medical Sciences School of Dentistry of Camaguey in 2011. Dr. Gonzalez graduated with Honors and was awarded the Best Academic Student Award of his graduation year. After two years of practicing as a general dentist and as a part-time faculty member at the School of Dentistry, he emigrated with his family to Florida, United States. Through years of resilience, sacrifices, and achievements as a Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2021 and graduated with Honors in Periodontics and received the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics. After three years of Residency dedicated to the study of Periodontics and developing the skills in the field including diagnosis and treatment of Periodontal and Peri-implant diseases, scaling and root planing, gum surgeries and grafting, implant surgery and sinus lift techniques among others Dr. Gonzalez obtained his Certificate in Periodontics from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2024 obtaining the Award “The Beube Memorial Fund in Periodontics”. He believes that his passion for the field of Periodontics and his commitment to his patients are the perfect combinations to succeed.
